I use a Fire TV for Kodi in the bedroom. I'd recommend the regular Fire TV since it has a much faster CPU and gives you more options for connectivity. After years of messing with this stuff, my bar for success is if the girlfriend can use it without complaining. That has led me to just buy the better stuff up front so I don't have to buy it twice.
